I love this little ceramic vignette called wander by Vanessa Villereal,
It’s where my mind is lately, with all the changes happening at my office.
One of my best coping strategies for stress is to sit quietly and let my mind wander back to one of the yummy places I’ve visited.
To begin, I ask my shoulders to relax and sink into my back. I close my eyes. I notice how my feet feel against the floor. I let my body relax into the chair’s support. I take full even breaths into my belly.
Next, I wander back to whatever yummy place I choose. I fill in all of the sensory details — what I saw, what I heard, what I smelled.
I wander for a few minutes and end up refreshed.
Meanwhile, you can buy this sweet piece from artstream here.

Love the bright beautiful JOY you post…and this
such a great way to settle and calm down.
Also SO enjoying your hike in the woods, how fun to run into this rusty treasure of the rusty old Saab.
